Assistant Principal Ebony Ford
I am pleased to be the Assistant Principal here at The Urban Assembly Unison School. I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve Unison students and families alongside an amazing and dedicated staff.
As we embark on this school year, I am confident that the work we have done to help our students move academically, socially, and emotionally will continue to thrive. We will continue to build strong relationships and teach SEL through our advisory program. We will continue to cultivate opportunities for our Trailblazers to be thinkers and problem solvers through our content and lessons. We will continue to provide our Trailblazers with real-world experience through our hydroponics, coding, and other enrichment opportunities. I am excited to be a part of a wonderful place like Unison.
Since being at Unison, I have served as a teacher, teacher leader, Director of Social-Emotional and Academic Learning, and now Assistant Principal. In my down time I enjoy reading novels (James Baldwin and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie are my favorite authors), watching films (documentaries and rom coms are the best), and catching up with family and friends from all across the country.
The physical and emotional safety of the students at Unison is my highest priority. I look forward to building strong and accountable relationships with all Unison students and families. If you have any questions, concerns, or even want to share what you are reading, please feel free to reach out to me. I can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call the main office at (718) 399-1061 and reach me at extension 3232.
